This fabulous exhibition will explore the genre of Sporting Art in Britain, from horseracing and hunting to boxing, football and ratting! Central to the story is John Bowes, founder of the Museum and the first man to lift the renowned Triple Crown. Exhibits include work by George Stubbs, Sir Alfred Munnings, George Morland and JF Herring Snr and Jnr.

"A" walk - Limestone Link. Kirkby Lonsdale, Hutton Roof Crags, Holme, Fairy Steps, Hazelslack, Arnside. 13 moderate miles.
"B" walk - Dalham Tower, Beetham, Fairy Steps, Hazelslack, Arnside Tower, Arnside. 8 moderate miles (can be shortened to 6 miles on the day).
Alternatively: Stay on the coach and “ do your own walk” from Arnside, such as climbing Arnside Knott.
